Say goodbye to stinky fart bombs!

Weird. But a bit indispensable. Say what?!
If you can't keep it in, then DON'T keep it in! says Subtle Butt, the ultimate... Flatulence Filters!

Trying not to break wind in a meeting or on a date is tricky: Do you excuse yourself to the rest room or clench your cheeks and hold it in? Well, the people behind this product think they have a better solution. "Subtle Butt" is a disposable, "fart neutralizing" pad — made with odor-diffusing carbon — that you slip into your undies when your digestive system threatens to stank up the room. What about any noise an explosion may make? We guess you're just supposed pray your gas is the silent but deadly variety.

^I find this very weird, but useful at the same time. O_O Grab one of these babies and you're good to go! Feel confident and brave enough to let your gas out, even after a heavy burrito meal. *wink*

Say whuut now..?

For some reason, I could not stop myself from laughing everytime I see this. Haha. Her face.. Funneh.

For more funny pictures and memes, go to 9gag.com. :)

Can't get enough..

..of CHRIS BROWN. Haha, lol. 3/4 of my tracks in my lappy are his. LOL. Talk about being avid. I'd be lying if I told you I'm not a fan of his. He'd been my monster crush since I was in highschool. Tee-hee.

Here is Chris Brown's Should've Kissed You.
For those boys who lack the courage to show or tell
their special ladies how they really feel.
Man up, brothaaas!

Here's some o' the lyrics:
Seems like every time,
I get the chance,
I lose my cool, and I blow it,
And I get all tongue tied,
Lost in your eyes,
I'm a fool, and I know it!

--Pang mga torpe. LOL.

Burning up like inferno

Woke up with a fever and mega-clogged nose, hence the post title. Is it just me, or am I being bombarded with misfortune this week? Whuuut is happening. Here's a song from Chris Brown. Flame Thrower.

Like like like like, danger!Gimme somethin' on the rocks andImma' take you staight up.Got me poppin' like a mighty morphin' power ranger.Heat it up until the fire marshall come complainin'.Come come come complainin'.It's hot!
Got me burning up, inferno.

*sniff*

*sniff* I think I have a bad case of the wheezes. That is all. *cough*

List of shitty things that happened to me todaaay:

  • my left leg (pants and all) got soaked in mountain dew blueberry slurpee
  • all my paperworks got soaked too
  • got the wrong schedule in my Math14 class
  • and.. lost my favourite purple pen (the one I use while making ALL my blog post drafts).
Oh hell. Happy Day. I wish your day's much more better than mine.

..the guys in these pics! MISS KO NA KAYO. Lombs, why'd you have to be so busy with SC stuff? I barely see you at MIS. Nyoy, I miss you! Busy ka na. Hirap pag 4th year noh? :| Dom. Weird ka pa din. Haha. Japs. ..haha. Palagi kitang kasama e, pero I still miss you. :) Ibalik natin toh, please? Namimiss na tayo ng Expo at ng UP! DEYYMMM.

What if?

"Dear Claire, "What" and "If" are two words as non-threatening as words can be. But put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life: What if? What if? What if? I don't know how your story ended but if what you felt then was true love, then it's never too late. If it was true then, why wouldn't it be true now? You need only the courage to follow your heart. I don't know what a love like Juliet's feels like - love to leave loved ones for, love to cross oceans for but I'd like to believe if I ever were to feel it, that I will have the courage to seize it. And, Claire, if you didn't, I hope one day that you will. All my love, Juliet."

-- Sophie, Letters to Juliet

Powerful words. Very well said. Got me thinking. Wheew, this is going to be a long night. Lord, help me.

Love the One you're With

I'm getting attached to a certain person more than I should. Bad thing or good thing? That part, I'm still trying to figure out. Every moment that I spend with this.. ermm.. being makes me feel guilty inside. The fact that I can't reciprocate his feelings kinda bothers me. Nakakakonsensya kasi. Damn it. And the person I'm babbling about is a friend, a close friend though. No shit. We're just friends. For real. This complicates everything. And yes.. the person causing me all this turmoil is a HE. Yes. And that "HE" is not my boyfriend. Shame on me. Oh yeah. Did I tell you that I spent 11.11.11 with him? Enjoyed the whole day though, but still! :/

P.S. While scourging the bookshelves for my 2010 planner, this one book toppled off and fell onto my lap. the tile of the book? "Love The One You're With" I was like @_@ F YOUUUU, you cosmic joker! -___- This isn't helping at all.

Proud 90's kid!

Whatever happened to paper dolls, cheap plastic balloons, dirty ice cream on a hot saturday afternoon, tagu-taguan? Haha. Kids these days don't even leave the comforts of their room anymore. They'd rather watch tv, surf the net, play PS3 etc. *sigh* I wouldn't blame technology for this. I mean, it has helped us in more ways we could imagine! I just wish that kids would take time to appreciate what the past had given us.

Haha, you remember the days when you and your playmates couldn't agree on anything, then settling the resolve using Rock, Papers or Scissors? Or when you used to wear sneakers that had lights and wheels on it because you thought it looks cool? HAHA. LOL. I used to have a pair just like that.

Man. I missed the tv shows back then. Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, Amanda Show. Haha. Oh and Power Rangers! Me and my sibs loved that show! Mom always made sure that there's a cutesie Power Rangers bobblehead attached to the box everytime we buy Kellog's Korn Flakes. Haha. And my brother and I have always believed that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green ranger, were meant to be together!!

Amanda Bynes looking cute in one of her early shows "The Amanda Show"

Hey Arnold!

Darn it. I miss those days. I'd never forget Aqua's Doctor Jones and Barbie Girl. Those were our favorite tunes. Man. We suck. Haha!

And man.. back then, when you own more that 20 VCDs and VHs, YOU. ARE. THE. BOMB. Haha, VHs swapping was the trend back then, I guess? Haha. Its pretty popular with me and my friends. Plus, pocketbooks! I own a lot of these. Haha. From Sweet Valley High to Nancy Drew, you name it!

SVH!

May collection pa nga kame ng LAHAT ng Troll Dolls. As in. All shapes and sizes. Haha, mga maluluhong bata, shet. And! I am a techie.. back then. Haha. Not that I'm not one now. Haha. Kumpleto. AS IN. Walkman, beeper/pager, the latest Nokia phone (the 8810). Haha. Oha?!

Before iPods, iPads. Internet. Instant Messaging. Playstation. *sigh*

I really miss those wild, carefree days. Back then, it didn't even realize that all of that would disappear. But hey. We continue to evolve, not just in technology, but as human beings as well. Haha.

I used to add "NOT" after almost every sentence I say.. NOT. Haha.
When I say "Talk to the hand," I mean it. Nuff said, people.
I love Push Pops and Warheads. And I still do..

And I KNOW THE MACARENA BY HEART! :)

Everybody's dancing dancing cuhraaazy

Humid afternoon, folks. Ang init.

I woke up at 6am, hoping na sisipagin akong pumasok. Well.. let's just say na nasayang lang yung effort kong gumising ng maaga. Haha! Darn it. Eyebags galore na naman.

In just a matter of days, balik buhay estudyante na naman tayo guys. UGH lang. Time to invest on clothes (and make-up) ulit! For us peeps na walang uniform ang school. Haha. Last week, I bought a 10ml tube of Magic Pink Cream from Sophie. I bought it on impulse, but now its an indispensable part of my make-up kit! Haha, time saver kase! It slashed 15minutes on my daily prep routine. Haha. And.. I just love how it gives you that natural fresh look. :) Next beauty product to scourge the mall for: zi perfect concealer tube. For those "haggard" and pimply days.

There. So.. it just hit me. Medyo malayo lang yung title sa post content. HAHA. Sarreeh. I was listening to Miranda Cosgrove's Dancing Crazy while doing this post, so ayun.

^Is it just me, or does she sound a bit like Avril Lavigne? Swear. The beat, the voice (or is is the faulty works of a sythesizer? Haha, we may never know).

Enough said. There should be like a software for generating post titles, noh? LOL :)

Patrick Stump ft. Lupe Fiasco: This City

"THIS CITY"
By Patrick Stump ft. Lupe Fiasco from the album Soul Punk
 This city is my city
And I love it, yeah I love it
I was born and raised here
I got it made here
And if I have my way, I'm gonna stay

--This is Stump's first shamefully upbeat single from the album Soul Punk. It's said that he himself recorded, edited, composed, performed and written every track. Bloody Hell. Well, all his work paid off. This is one hell of a song! The video was great too. It has this "trance-y" feel into it. That even a word? Haha.

On this date in..

1901: Boxer shorts were first introduced in the U.S., the same day a getaway car was used for the first time when thieves robbed a shop in Paris, France.

1941: In the Great Doughnut Debate, judges ruled that 15-year-old Hanson Gregory of Clam Cove, Maine, had invented the doughnut hole in 1847 when he punched the centers out of his mother's fried cakes because, "the centers were never cooked done anyway."

1947: "You Bet Your Life" debuted on ABC Radio with Groucho Marx as quizmaster and George Fenneman as Groucho’s straightman. The program continued on radio into 1959 and ran on NBC television from 1950-1961.

1954: Walt Disney's first television program, titled "Disneyland" after his soon-to-be completed theme park, premiered on ABC.

1973: The first edition of the New International Version of the Bible was published. Over 100-million copies have been sold worldwide.

1975: The covers of both Time and Newsweek carried a picture of rock singer Bruce Springsteen.

1987: A burglar broke into a house in Gilroy, California, made the bed, did the dishes, took out the trash, put dirty clothes in the hamper, and hung new curtains in the bedroom. The only thing missing was the old curtains.

1992: Low-tech Tipper Gore, campaigning for U.S. Second Lady, admitted covering the clock on her VCR with black tape so she wouldn’t have to watch it blink.

1995: A contract was signed that would move the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore, but it wasn’t announced until November 6th.

1998: A truck overturned in the Idaho mountains and spilled a half-million honeybees and their honey all over Interstate 90. The honey-slick highway had to be closed for two hours until it could be sanded and made safe again. No one was hurt, but state police said it was a "major mess."

1999: A Hong Kong hospital suspended a surgeon after a patient complained he used a cellphone to talk about buying a car during the surgery. The patient said that, under only a local anaesthetic, he heard the conversation.

2002: A man in Madison, Wisconsin, was hospitalized with critical injuries after trying to kill his head lice. Police say the 26-year-old doused a towel with rubbing alcohol, put it on his head and then lit a cigarette. He suffered burns on about 50 percent of his body.

2004: The Boston Red Sox swept the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series, winning game four 3-0. It was the Red Sox first World Series win since 1918.

2007: To stop men from urinating in public, Paris officials developed a sloping, undulating wall that sprayed urine back at anyone who peed on it. Fines of up to $600 had failed to discourage the unsightly and unsanitary habit among French men. A new sidewalk at the wall also was difficult to stand on particularly after a third beer.

--for your dose of everyday-trivia. I love the second one, on how doughnuts were made. Haha.

David Guetta ft. Usher: Without You

"WITHOUT YOU"
from the album Nothing But the Beat by David Guetta ft. vocals by Usher

I can’t win, I can’t wait
I will never win this game without you, without you
I am lost, I am vain,
I will never be the same without you, without you

--Every song David Guetta does stays in my head. I mean, his songs, they got this beat that you can't just get out of your head! House music, trance, a bit of R&B, you name it. LSS agad. :)

One Hell of a Night

Remember the party I was talking about in one of my previous posts? Well, IT WAS A BLAST. Happy birthday to JC Mallari and my baby, Joshua Sicat! Bummer I had to go home early because we're leaving for Batangas (Punta Fuego) the morning after, but boy! I had fun! Haha. The food was scrumptious! Not to mention the overflowing booze, courtesy of my baby. Haha. I was supposed to go as a geisha, but I don't know how I ended up being a geisha fan lady (pictured) /samurai/Andra. Less the fan. I didn't come prepared. Hahaha. Some even said I looked like Andra from Solomon's Boneyard! Haha. Thanks to my friends Fern and Carl for my make-up! They used loads of face powder for the white make-up base, lots of eyeliner for the eyes, Lalaine's mascara from Etude House for those voluminous lashes and Dio's uber red lipstick! Its in Russian Red. Dunno what brand. Haha.
Dom, JC (Don't you just love his costume?), Bianca, Fern and Dio
Carl (Pretty in a toga), Eda (was wearing a scary/cute doll costume earlier that night) and Fern (our very own MUA!)
My personal favorite. Haha. Ronald! Kudos for the costume. HAHHA.
I'll post all the pics later, as I forgot to compress them in my desktop. :) toodles!

--will work on a new post entitled: What's in your Bag? Content? The title says it all.You guys should do this too! :)

Definitely not my day

A list of things that ticked me off:
  • "wax appointment" got cancelled.
  • bickered with dad earlier this morning.
  • email got hacked -- F U all, hackers.
  • external drive crashed, for the nth time.
Mood level dropped down to zero when I found out that package's due to arrive next week pa. I badly need that package NOW. courier sucks. UGH. Then there's this kid who pulled my hair for NO REASON AT ALL. What the F?!

Then there's grandma. Right now, we're on route to Tala Vera, to a hospital which name I don't even know. Cardiac Arrest. At the age of 74. Damn. Lola, BE STRONG. :( I wish I'd be able to return to Manila in time for Jom's birthday. I WISH.

I'm in need of a handful of happy pills. Somebody hand me some! :|

PLAY PILIPINAS 2011: The Power of Play!

PLAY PILIPINAS: The First International Festival on Children's Play
On October 21, 2011 - October 23, 2011,
SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City

 UNLEASH THE POWER OF PLAY!

Play Pilipinas is the first festival on children’s play in the Philippines. It is organized by PlayUniversal Co., and it aims to bring individuals, companies and institutions together to explore ideas and innovations that may help shape young Filipinos for generations to come.

This year, the festival invites people to help answer the challenge of preserving, promoting and enriching the role of play as an integral part of our children’s growth, development and learning. As such, the festival also promises to be a lot of fun for everyone.

There would be forums(headed by experts on the field of Education, Child Development, Psychology and Marketing. Some of them are: Dr. LOURDES “HONEY” ARELLANO-CARANDANG, HITOSHI SHIMAMURA and MARCUS VEERMAN), exhibits, contests etc.

There'd be workshops too. You could choose from different workshops, and learn from leading practitioners in their field. Catch the ones most relevant to you or attend as many as you want.

For more information about this event, visit www.playpilipinas.org and their facebook page playpilipinas@fb. :)

--I love how PlayUniversal Co. integrates playing with learning. I have a 6-year-old niece, and believe me, it isn't easy to motivate tots to study nowadays. BELIEVE ME. Mahirap kalabanin ang katamaran at ang TV. Would love to attend this event. Unfortuantely, I'd be going to Caliraya this 21st of October. Bummer. Anyway, I'd tell my Ate so she could bring Jedeiah to this. Moms out there, this is a perfect opportunity to bond with your little ones! :)

TRIVIA: It’s International Face Your Fear Day!

May cinecelebrate palang ganitong araw. LOL. Anyway, I overheard this on the radio a while ago, and I went like, Weh? Ahh, people. Kung ano-ano nalang ang cinecelebrate. Haha. Pero this is quite fitting because Halloween’s coming up in a couple of weeks. Halloween = Fear. You get what I mean. Let me start with a list of things/whatchamacallits that I’m dead scared of:
  • ·         Clowns (Hobos, Serial killer clowns, and the like. Plus points if they’re sporting annoying red hair, scary green eyes and a wicked grin. Creepy.)
  • ·         Live fish (As in yung humihinga pa. Yung tipong umaangat angat pa yung gills.)  eto sample^ FREEAAAKY LANG!
  • ·         Creepy Crawlers (I mean.. who doesn’t loathe them? Ah, mga scientists. Haha.)
  • ·         Hens, turkeys, and geese (I used to think that I’m scared of anything with feathers, but no. I actually like eagles. Cause they look regal and stuff. Haha.)
You guys heard of Stephen King’s novel “IT”? Well, they released a movie adaptation of the novel and the clown in that film.. well, let’s just say that he’s the one I described a while ago. Pretty scary, huh? My brother tricked me once into watching that film. Minutes later, I was bawling my eyes out, begging him to turn off the tv. LOL. Simula noon, sobrang natrauma na ko. Haha. Wow. Siguro life changing event?! LOL. For the record, I was eight back then! I had every right to be duwag.

There. Ang weird lang ng mga kinakatakutan ko noh? Cut me some slack. Matatakutin talaga ko e.

What about you guys? What are you afraid of?

Coldplay: Every teardrop is a waterfall

Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, Coldplay (from the album Mylo Xyloto)

My feel-good music. I really love this. Especially this part:
I turn the music up, I got my records on
From underneath the rubble sing a rebel song
Don't want to see another generation drop
I'd rather be a comma than a full stop.
KUDOS to Coldplay for making good music :)

Jason Derulo: It Girl

"IT-GIRL"
My "favoritest" track in Jason Derulo's Future History Album.

LYRICS:
I've been looking under rocks and breaking locks
Just tryna find ya
I've been like a manic insomniac 5 steps behind ya
Tell them other girls, they can hit the exit Check please...
Cause I finally found the girl of...my dreams
Much more than a Grammy award
That's how much you mean to me

Chrorus:
You could be my it girl
Baby you're the shhh girl
Lovin' you could be a crime
Crazy how we fit girl This is it girl
Give me 25 to life
I just wanna rock all night long
And put you in the middle of my spotlight
You could be my it girl
You're my biggest hit girl
Let me play it loud Let me play it loud like...oh oh oh oh
Let me play it loud Let me play it loud like...oh oh oh oh
Let me play it loud

You can't help but turn them heads
Knockin' 'em dead Dropping like flies around ya
If I get your body close not letting go
Hoping you're about to
Tell them other guys they can lose your number You're done!
They don't get another shot cause you're...love drunk
Like a TV show playing reruns
Every chance I get I'mma turn you on

[Chorus]

Can't seem to stop you from...running, running Through my, through my mind, mind Just keep it coming, coming Til I make you mine, mine You've got that something, something I wanna be with girl You're my greatest hit girl Just say this is it girl... Hey baby... Don't you know you're my it girl

[Chorus]

Let me play it loud Let me play it loud like...oh oh oh oh Let me play it loud Let me play it loud like...oh oh oh oh Let me play it loud

BAD VIIIBES. Alam mo yung tatlong oras kang nagtttype ng walang tigil, tapos malaman laman mo kinabukasan na yung pinagsave-an mo palang usb ay CORRUPT! CORRUPT! P*ta lang. Excuse me for my french, erm, tagalog. Whatever. Nastress ako bigla. Eto pa. Nakasave din dun yung pinaghirapan kong template para sa blog ko. Worst part is, that template was made from scratch :( Sana may autorecover sa bahay. I poured my heart on those documents. Stress, layuan mo ko. :(

Big thanks to Nel De Guzman. Recent posts mo about HER. Nakakagaan ng loob.LOL. I've seen her Makati trips too, and her blog. Normal lang. Haha. Gusto kong mangokray, pero wala ako sa mood. There's one thing I know though. It feels so good to be bad. >:)

Will work on my blogger template later. Katamad e.

YEAY. I decided I'd be going as a geisha. :D Heehee. Need to find costumes ASAP. Share lang, Haha. Toodles. :)

Here comes Halloween!

October 25, 2011. Mark the f*cking date. I am so going to this halloween costume shit. Its a double birthday party, planned by my ever-spontaneous-boyfriend, Jom, and another friend of ours, JC. Haha. I was thinking of giving them both a jack-o-lantern cake. Haha, e kase halloween e. About the gifts, ugh. Wala akong idea. I'm not good with gift-giving pizzaz. Anyway.. wonder what costume would I be donning. Weeeeh. I'm excited as fuck. Haha. Pardon my french. Its just that I've been so wrapped up in my studies (and internship) I barely have time to go to parties like these. Haha. WILL. DEFINITELY. SCOURGE. THE. NET. FOR. THE. PERFECT. OUTFIT. I'm planning to go as an egyptian princess or an elf. Or as Princess Peach. Then Jom would go as Mario. PERFECT. Kidding, LOL. Haha. I obviously have no idea what to wear. Help me, Google.

For a minute, I felt like God: The Sims3

Nothing out of the norm happened this day. The rain poured nonstop, classes got, err, suspended thanks to World Teachers' Day. Haha. Nonetheless, we had nothing better to do. So me and my mates hung out in our org office, hoping for something to happen. Gaah. 3hours passed. Shiz. I've never been this bored before. My other friends found something to do like play cards, poker etc. Lucky me, I don't know how to play any of those. Yeay. It got sooooo boring, I resorted to playing Sims3 instead.
The Sims3
I remember back in grade school, I used to play the oldest version of Sims. Then when The Sims2 came out, I was quick to install it in my computer. Even bought a brand new video card. Haha. Nakaka-addict e. Haha. Ang God-like lang kase nung game. Imagine, you get to "direct" your Sims' lives. Its up to you if they'd be a successful tycoon or a sloppy sloth.

My ratings:
Graphics:  Depends on your graphic card.
Audio:  Not much changed. Haha. Still cute, specially the Simlish language.
Gameplay:  Pretty cool. If you're into Godlike simulation games.

For more information about the game click here. Thanks to Wikipedia for the additional info. Kudos to EA games for this wonderful (and time-consuming) game! :)

School Tales: "Biglaang" Date!

2:30pm. Normal day at school. And by normal I mean, scorching hot and boring. God. I'd give anything to have air-conditioning installed in our classrooms. We (by we, i mean Jom and moi) were planning on grabbing a quick lunch somewhere near the school, so that I'd catch my 3 o'clock class. BUT.. for some unexplainable reason, we ended up eating lunch at a nearby mall. Okay na sana e. Nagkayayaan nang bumalik sa school. Ewan ko lang kung bakit minutes later, we found ourselves sitting at the cinema house waiting for Friends with Benefits to go on screen.

Thumbs up for zis flick! :)
By the way, this movie. IS. WORTH. WATCHING. Love the plot. Plus, Mila Kunis is scorching hot!My favorite scene from the movie:
  • Jamie: "I miss sex."
    Dylan: "I miss sex too."
Jamie: "I mean sometimes you just need it."
Dylan: "Why does it always have to come with complications?"
    Jamie: "And emotion!"
Dylan: "It's a physical act, like playing tennis."
Jamie: "Do you want more beer?" (Bends over, giving Dylan a clear view of her bottom)
    Dylan: "Let's play tennis!"
--Note to self: Do not ask anybody to play tennis. (I would never think of tennis the same way ever)

Thank heavens for my boyfriend's spontaneity. Without his random ideas, this day would've never been this cool. Haha. Never a dull moment with him. Neveeeer. :D

Oh, and this. He actually asked me if I wanted to see this. I looked at him with a look that says "Not-a-fan-of-local-movies-but-I'd-sit-through-this-for-you." Maybe it won't be that bad. I just prefer foreign movies over local ones. Don't get me wrong, folks. :)

Might be worth watching. MIGHT BE. We'll see :)
Looking forward to tomorrow! Busy day at school, nevertheless, We'd (you get what I mean when I say "we") be sure to watch this. Kailangan. Haha. Will be posting reviews tomorrow! :)
