Was browsing thtough Coco's tumblr (click here) when I saw this ad for Diet Coke by Karl Lagerfeld. It was released some time in March 11, I guess. Haha. I wish I had one of these babies. These are just too cuuute to ignore! Haha.
HOOOMAAYGAAAAD. i have an x (inenglish lang yung post title eh, haha.) Sobrang sabaw ako dahil sa x na yan. Goodbye, almost perfect school record! Gaahd. I could hear dad giggling right now. Guess what subject I "flunked" out. MANAGEMENT. Bummer!
This city is my city And I love it, yeah I love it I was born and raised here I got it made here And if I have my way, I'm gonna stay
--This is Stump's first shamefully upbeat single from the album Soul Punk. It's said that he himself recorded, edited, composed, performed and written every track. Bloody Hell. Well, all his work paid off. This is one hell of a song! The video was great too. It has this "trance-y" feel into it. That even a word? Haha.

time when thieves robbed a shop in Paris, France.
1941: In the Great Doughnut Debate, judges ruled that
15-year-old Hanson Gregory of Clam Cove, Maine, had
invented the doughnut hole in 1847 when he punched the
centers out of his mother's fried cakes because, "the centers were never
cooked done
anyway."
1947: "You Bet Your Life" debuted on ABC Radio with Groucho Marx as quizmaster and George Fenneman
as Groucho’s straightman. The program continued on radio into 1959 and ran on NBC television from 1950-1961.

1998:
A truck overturned in the Idaho mountains and spilled a half-million

Paris officials developed a
sloping, undulating wall that
sprayed urine
back at anyone who peed on it. Fines of up to $600

unsightly and
unsanitary habit among French men. A new sidewalk at
the wall also was difficult to stand on particularly after a
third beer.
--for your dose of everyday-trivia. I love the second one, on how doughnuts were made. Haha.
I can’t win, I can’t wait
I will never win this game without you, without you
I am lost, I am vain,
I will never be the same without you, without you
--Every song David Guetta does stays in my head. I mean, his songs, they got this beat that you can't just get out of your head! House music, trance, a bit of R&B, you name it. LSS agad. :)
Remember the party I was talking about in one of my previous posts? Well, IT WAS A BLAST. Happy birthday to JC Mallari and my baby, Joshua Sicat! Bummer I had to go home early because we're leaving for Batangas (Punta Fuego) the morning after, but boy! I had fun! Haha. The food was scrumptious! Not to mention the overflowing booze, courtesy of my baby. Haha. I was supposed to go as a geisha, but I don't know how I ended up being a geisha fan lady (pictured) /samurai/Andra. Less the fan. I didn't come prepared. Hahaha. Some even said I looked like Andra from Solomon's Boneyard! Haha. Thanks to my friends Fern and Carl for my make-up! They used loads of face powder for the white make-up base, lots of eyeliner for the eyes, Lalaine's mascara from Etude House for those voluminous lashes and Dio's uber red lipstick! Its in Russian Red. Dunno what brand. Haha.
Dom, JC (Don't you just love his costume?), Bianca, Fern and Dio
Carl (Pretty in a toga), Eda (was wearing a scary/cute doll costume earlier that night) and Fern (our very own MUA!)
My personal favorite. Haha. Ronald! Kudos for the costume. HAHHA.
I'll post all the pics later, as I forgot to compress them in my desktop. :) toodles!
--will work on a new post entitled: What's in your Bag? Content? The title says it all.You guys should do this too! :)
Mood level dropped down to zero when I found out that package's due to arrive next week pa. I badly need that package NOW. courier sucks. UGH. Then there's this kid who pulled my hair for NO REASON AT ALL. What the F?!
Then there's grandma. Right now, we're on route to Tala Vera, to a hospital which name I don't even know. Cardiac Arrest. At the age of 74. Damn. Lola, BE STRONG. :( I wish I'd be able to return to Manila in time for Jom's birthday. I WISH.
I'm in need of a handful of happy pills. Somebody hand me some! :|
PLAY PILIPINAS: The First International Festival on Children's Play
On October 21, 2011 - October 23, 2011,
SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City
UNLEASH THE POWER OF PLAY!
Play Pilipinas is the first festival on children’s play in the
Philippines. It is organized by PlayUniversal Co., and it aims to bring individuals,
companies and institutions together to explore ideas and innovations
that may help shape young Filipinos for generations to come.
This year, the festival invites people to help answer the challenge
of preserving, promoting and enriching the role of play as an integral
part of our children’s growth, development and learning. As such, the
festival also promises to be a lot of fun for everyone.
There would be forums(headed by experts on the field of Education, Child Development, Psychology and Marketing. Some of them are: Dr. LOURDES “HONEY” ARELLANO-CARANDANG, HITOSHI SHIMAMURA and MARCUS VEERMAN), exhibits, contests etc.
There'd be workshops too. You could choose from different workshops, and learn from leading
practitioners in their field. Catch the ones most relevant to you or attend as many as you want.
--I love how PlayUniversal Co. integrates playing with learning. I have a 6-year-old niece, and believe me, it isn't easy to motivate tots to study nowadays. BELIEVE ME. Mahirap kalabanin ang katamaran at ang TV. Would love to attend this event. Unfortuantely, I'd be going to Caliraya this 21st of October. Bummer. Anyway, I'd tell my Ate so she could bring Jedeiah to this. Moms out there, this is a perfect opportunity to bond with your little ones! :)
You Make Me Feel, Cobra Starship Ft. Sabi (From the album Night Shades)
Everything you want so let me get up there
I’m the baddest baby in the atmosphere
Tell me what you want so we can do just what you like
Ooh
Everything you know I’m flipping upside down
Take you ’round the world
You know I like it loud
Tell me what you want ’cause we can do just what you like
--I'm down with a severe case of Last Song Syndroooome.
Put your hands up.
Let the lights drop
Make my world stop.
May cinecelebrate
palang ganitong araw. LOL. Anyway, I overheard this on the radio a while
ago, and I went like, Weh? Ahh,
people. Kung ano-ano nalang ang
cinecelebrate. Haha. Pero this is quite fitting because Halloween’s coming
up in a couple of weeks. Halloween = Fear. You get what I mean. Let me start
with a list of things/whatchamacallits that I’m dead scared of:
·Clowns (Hobos, Serial killer clowns, and the
like. Plus points if they’re sporting annoying red hair, scary green eyes and a
wicked grin. Creepy.)
·Live fish (As
in yung humihinga pa. Yung tipong umaangat angat pa yung gills.) eto sample^ FREEAAAKY LANG!
·Creepy Crawlers (I mean.. who doesn’t loathe
them? Ah, mga scientists. Haha.)
·Hens, turkeys, and geese (I used to think that
I’m scared of anything with feathers, but no. I actually like eagles. Cause
they look regal and stuff. Haha.)
You guys heard of Stephen King’s novel “IT”? Well, they
released a movie adaptation of the novel and the clown in that film.. well,
let’s just say that he’s the one I described a while ago. Pretty scary, huh? My
brother tricked me once into watching that film. Minutes later, I was bawling
my eyes out, begging him to turn off the tv. LOL. Simula noon, sobrang natrauma na ko. Haha. Wow. Siguro life changing
event?! LOL. For the record, I was eight back then! I had every right to be
duwag.
There. Ang weird lang
ng mga kinakatakutan ko noh? Cut me some slack. Matatakutin talaga ko e.
Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, Coldplay (from the album Mylo Xyloto)
My feel-good music. I really love this. Especially this part:
I turn the music up, I got my records on
From underneath the rubble sing a rebel song Don't want to see another generation drop
I'd rather be a comma than a full stop.
My "favoritest" track in Jason Derulo's Future History Album.
LYRICS:
I've been looking under rocks and breaking locks
Just tryna find ya
I've been like a manic insomniac5 steps behind ya
Tell them other girls, they can hit the exitCheck please...
Cause I finally found the girl of...my dreams
Much more than a Grammy award
That's how much you mean to me
Chrorus: You could be my it girl
Baby you're the shhh girl
Lovin' you could be a crime
Crazy how we fit girlThis is it girl
Give me 25 to life
I just wanna rock all night long
And put you in the middle of my spotlight
You could be my it girl
You're my biggest hit girl Let me play it loudLet me play it loud like...oh oh oh oh
Let me play it loudLet me play it loud like...oh oh oh oh
Let me play it loud
You can't help but turn them heads
Knockin' 'em deadDropping like flies around ya
If I get your body close not letting go
Hoping you're about to
Tell them other guys they can lose your numberYou're done!
They don't get another shot cause you're...love drunk
Like a TV show playing reruns
Every chance I getI'mma turn you on

BAD VIIIBES.Alam mo yung tatlong oras kang nagtttype ng walang tigil, tapos malaman laman mo kinabukasan na yung pinagsave-an mo palang usb ay CORRUPT! CORRUPT! P*ta lang. Excuse me for my french, erm, tagalog. Whatever. Nastress ako bigla. Eto pa. Nakasave din dun yung pinaghirapan kong template para sa blog ko. Worst part is, that template was made from scratch :( Sana may autorecover sa bahay. I poured my heart on those documents. Stress, layuan mo ko. :(
Big thanks to Nel De Guzman. Recent posts mo about HER. Nakakagaan ng loob.LOL. I've seen her Makati trips too, and her blog. Normal lang. Haha. Gusto kong mangokray, pero wala ako sa mood. There's one thing I know though. It feels so good to be bad. >:)
Will work on my blogger template later. Katamad e.
October 25, 2011. Mark the f*cking date. I am so going to this halloween costume shit. Its a double birthday party, planned by my ever-spontaneous-boyfriend, Jom, and another friend of ours, JC. Haha. I was thinking of giving them both a jack-o-lantern cake. Haha, e kase halloween e. About the gifts, ugh. Wala akong idea. I'm not good with gift-giving pizzaz. Anyway.. wonder what costume would I be donning. Weeeeh. I'm excited as fuck. Haha. Pardon my french. Its just that I've been so wrapped up in my studies (and internship) I barely have time to go to parties like these. Haha. WILL. DEFINITELY. SCOURGE. THE. NET. FOR. THE. PERFECT. OUTFIT. I'm planning to go as an egyptian princess or an elf. Or as Princess Peach. Then Jom would go as Mario. PERFECT. Kidding, LOL. Haha. I obviously have no idea what to wear. Help me, Google.
Nothing out of the norm happened this day. The rain poured nonstop, classes got, err, suspended thanks to World Teachers' Day. Haha. Nonetheless, we had nothing better to do. So me and my mates hung out in our org office, hoping for something to happen. Gaah. 3hours passed. Shiz. I've never been this bored before. My other friends found something to do like play cards, poker etc. Lucky me, I don't know how to play any of those. Yeay. It got sooooo boring, I resorted to playing Sims3 instead.
The Sims3
I remember back in grade school, I used to play the oldest version of Sims. Then when The Sims2 came out, I was quick to install it in my computer. Even bought a brand new video card. Haha. Nakaka-addict e. Haha. Ang God-like lang kase nung game. Imagine, you get to "direct" your Sims' lives. Its up to you if they'd be a successful tycoon or a sloppy sloth.
My ratings:
Graphics: Depends on your graphic card.
Audio: Not much changed. Haha. Still cute, specially the Simlish language.
Gameplay: Pretty cool. If you're into Godlike simulation games.
For more information about the game click here. Thanks to Wikipedia for the additional info. Kudos to EA games for this wonderful (and time-consuming) game! :)
